I began my working life in retail before moving through roles such as music librarian, tutor, help desk officer and even pie factory worker. But once I settled into the research division at a medical charity I'd found a comfortable fit between my intelligence, my administrative flair and my creative side.
Moving from research assistant to research division assistant and then assistant to the CEO's office, I took a role as the Executive Assistant to the Director of the research division, and our ten year partnership at the helm of the division saw me develop into research material design, including conference posters, questionnaires, flyers, posters, and other promotional materials. My work also included some research communication and even giving presentations on behalf of the director on the achievements of our division.
In recent years, I've freelanced my research design work, continuing work for the research division that once employed me, as well as work for UNSW and others.
I've also enjoyed stints working as a secretary for a dermatology surgery, including accounts payable, weekly and monthly reporting, and social media marketing for the surgery.
And I've also enjoyed providing copywriting and marketing materials for corporate information management and online coaching industries.
I've got a Bachelor of Arts in creative arts, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling & Family Therapy, a Cert IV in Colour and Design, I've completed B School and currently working through Copyhackers Copyschool.
